My wedding is in June too! :D but on the 26th. We are planning on having our invites out by the end of Feb. because most of his family lives out of the state.

You can send your invites whenever you want in all reality, especially if you have relatives or invited people who live out of state. But I think the minimum time frame to have invites out is 3 months before the wedding and have the RSVP's back at least 6 weeks before the wedding for seating arrangements at the reception.

I personally with it being in the holidays and on a friday so that people will need to get time off work would allow at the very minimum 6 months. I realise this is early but a lot of people simply cannot book days of work last minute and also in the holiday season people have often booked their trips away as much as a year in advance, cancelling these is often very costly. Make sure that the key people know the dates before the invites are sent out. Also don't bother with save the dates, just tell people when you see or talk to them as these are just a waste of money.

I would send out your invites the first week of April. That way, you're giving people 4 weeks to RSVP.

The standard is 3 months before the wedding. RSVP date should be done according to the total # of ppl invited. More people = earlier RSVP date so you have time to get together greater numbers of everything you need.

Send them out March 18. Make the RSVP sometime in May = )

Typically invitations should not be sent out more than 2 months in advance. If you want your guests to be aware of your wedding before then, you can either tell them or send out save-the-dates.

If you haven't sent out Save the Date notices then ASAP!

If you have sent out Save the Date notices so that guests have had plenty of time to make arrangements to get time off work etc, then 2-3 months ahead is fine.

Send your invitations out 8 weeks in advance. Your RSVP date is a bit early - May 15 would probably be just fine.

Congratulations and be wishes!

My fiance' and I are getting Married on June 26th and what we did, was make small, fairly inexpensive "save the date" cards. It just said the date we are getting married and the town we are getting married in. At the very bottom it says "invitations to follow". We sent those out already to all the people out of state that might need time to plan a trip to get to the wedding. Then we will send out actual invitations about 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding. This works well because then we arent sending all the invites way early so people forget about the wedding, but the people that need more planning on getting here have more of a heads up.
